The month of May, 2015 will see the release of interVOLT’s new, the DCC Pro, a truly innovative solution for in-vehicle battery management and maintenance.
Battery to battery charging technology has been around for some time now. There are a number of products on the market, some good, some not so good. Our goal from the outset was to design something better than the standard offerings, so we created, what we believe to be, the most innovative in-vehicle battery charging system to ever hit the market.
Our vision for the DCC Pro was a device which, would not only provide an autonomous charging method for any auxiliary battery, but would also provide feedback to the operator on the status of the charging and maintenance process. To achieve this it was necessary to utilise a visual display. The addition of a remote display also provided the opportunity for a level of operator input, allowing some control of the device, such as selection of battery types for example. The development of a true remote user interface enabled the concept to evolve into the product you see before you.
