interVOLT SVC Series

interVOLT SVC Series voltage converters enable equipment designed for a nominal voltage of 12 Volt DC to operate from a 24 Volt DC supply.

24V DC supplies can often be found in large vehicles such as prime movers, trucks, lorries, coaches and buses. Large boats and yachts, both recreational and commercial usually employ 24 VDC systems. Many alternate energy systems such as remote outstations or telemetry systems will utilize 24VDC as the supply source. In all of these instances it is likely that some 12V DC equipment may need to be connected.

The following is a list of 12 VDC items that are commonly connected to our voltage converters:

• Communications equipment i.e VHF, UHF, HF, AM, Cell phones, etc
• Refrigeration both portable and built in
• AV equipment including, TV, Hi-Fi, Radio, CD players, etc
• Personal computers including lap tops, notebook, etc
• Instruments both navigation and monitoring
• Navigation equipment including radar, sounders, GPS, plotters
• Electronic controls including auto pilot, engine controls, steering, etc
• DC Lighting both incandescent and fluorescent
• DC motors fitted to winches, blowers, actuators, etc
• Pumps including bilge, fuel, hydraulic, etc
